So glad we stumbled into and out of Ernie's while in Sitka for our cruise. It's a real locals kind of place where you can mingle, talk to locals, and knock back some beers and shots. They have a cigarette machine, if you are so inclined.

I liked this place more than I’d like to admit and spent more time here than I thought. There is nothing gimmicky about this bar and it’s a definite local hangout. We had a few good conversations here and would’ve had more if our port time during our cruise had been longer. I loved the duck fart and we loved this old bar. Pro tip: CASH ONLY

What's better than a bar that's full at noon? We went there on a bicycle pub crawl and it was warm and full of friendly looking people. Were they locals or all from the ships? Hard to know, but you can check the photo. The service was good.

Historical bar! Enter the door, and go back in time! Extremely charming. Really good selection of beers and liquor. You have to stop by here when you're in Sitka.

Nice little old timey saloon, just stopped in for a pint. Good ambuent music selection. Glacier Brewhouse Old Time Porter on tap tastes great! Good liquor selection. Friendly service

What an atmosphere. Definitely feels like an old timey bar in the gold rush. The guy behind the bar was awesome. Didn’t catch his name, but he was running a busy bar and did it with a smile. Beer was fairly priced and quite tasty. The mixed drinks looked tasty, but that’s not exactly my thing. Oh. Don’t ring the bell! Unless you plan on being generous, anyway.

Great bar!!! Super friendly! Awesome vibe!! Cash only but they have an ATM machine. The bartender was from Texas and was super cool! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through.

Came in on a rainy day in Alaska (imagine that!:). Friendly bar with pool tables. Had a few drafts… Alaskan Class 5 & Alaskan Husky IPA. Nice low key relaxed place. Cash only.

Found this little gem when I was exploring Sitka. There were mostly tourists from the cruise ships in the bar, but I was lucky enough to challenge some locals to several games of pool. The local people are approachable and good natured, and I was even given a ride back to the ship, with ten minutes to spare. Great place to get a bite and a refreshing adult beverage.

CASH ONLY. It's an old-school dive bar with pool tables. Looks like it's the one of the locals favorites. Not overcrowded though, which is good. They have a good selection of beers on tap, cocktails, and Alaskan famous duckfart shots (recommended 😋). We didn't try any food there, but they said there are a couple of food trucks around the corner, and you can bring food from there. Overall, cool place.
